“Retro Swing Sister” consists of vocalists Maryann Sullivan and Rhonda Laurie, backed by an incredible group of some of the finest big band jazz musicians, making up a fun, retro-swinging, vibrant ensemble with a classic yet fresh approach to the Great American Songbook from the 20’s to the 50’s. 

From vintage style swinging standards to early dance rock, this group appeals to a wide age range of both listeners and dancers.

Maryann and Rhonda met on the local jazz circuit. With a mutual admiration and a similar musical esthetic, they decided to join forces to create a fun, creative group as a vehicle for delving into uplifting repertoire with a “point of view” for a wide audience. Our goal is for you to smile, dance, listen and enjoy!
